Uncle Clyde's Comedy Contest
UNCLE CLYDE´S COMEDY CONTEST is a year long Comedy Contest extravaganza!!!!! Held every Wednesday.
There are SIX Preliminary Rounds, in each preliminary round 10 comics each perform a six-minute set. A Special Guest Performer or Group is invited to perform at "Half Time" and at "Math Time" at the end of the show while the votes are being tallied. Each 1st place weekly winner receives $101 cash prize, 2nd place winners will receive a gift certificate from a Local Restaurant or Other Sponsor, and 3rd place wins Clyde´s traditional Huge Side of French Fries.
The 1st and 2nd place winners from each preliminary round will be invited to perform in a Soup-Or-Bowl Finals Every Six Weeks. Each Soup-Or-Bowl winner receives $500.00 and a Professional Gig at the Ice House Comedy Club, 2nd place winners prizes vary, and 3rd place will be Clyde´s traditional Huge Side of French Fries.
Come back again at the end of the year when Clyde's Presents...Championship Month- Where basically the contest starts all over again. The Top 60 Finalists from all our preliminary rounds come back to battle it out for the Clyde's Cup- various prizes, glory and a trophy!
