Zara Mizrahi began acting at 16 years old and trained in dramatic and comedic technique. In 2011 she released a solo album, "Loosen My Lips," which she wrote, sang and played on. Shortly afterward, Zara´s brother dared her to try stand-up comedy. Because she happens to love life and is incapable of regret, she accepted the challenge. She now performs stand-up every night. I´m a British, tea-drinking redcoat new to both Los Angeles and stand-up comedy. I was born in London, grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, lived in Amsterdam for a year (where I used to go to improv jams at Boom Chicago, a Second City affiliate), and then moved back to London for university. After running my own theatre company producing classical plays, I trained professionally as an actor at Drama Studio London (Forest Whitaker went there, and that´s our claim to fame). I´ve been a theatre and film actor ever since; highlights include touring Italy two years running with a travelling theatre company and starring in independent feature film ´Prep School´ that shot in San Francisco last summer. A friend convinced me to get into stand-up just a couple months ago, so if you don´t think I´m funny, it´s his fault. WEBSITE | | BOOK
