Created in 1996 by comedienne Lisa Sundstedt, Pretty, Funny Women is the longest running all female comedy show in the world and the hottest showcase in town for up and coming comediennes. UNCLE CLYDE´S COMEDY CONTEST - is LA's Longest Running Comedy Contest, and you pick the winners. . There are eight preliminary rounds. In each preliminary round, 10 comics performs a five-minute set. A special guest performer or group is invited to perform at "Half Time" and at "Math Time" (the end of the show while the votes are being tallied). The 1st place winner receives $101.00 Cash Prize, 2nd place receives a $50.00 gift card from Flappers Comedy Club or from another location, and 3rd place gets a Clyde´s traditional Huge Side of French Fries. The top finishers will be invited to perform in the Soup-Or-Bowl finals. Each Soup-Or-Bowl Audience Vote winner will receive $500.00 cash and the Judges Vote will receive a Professional Gig at Flappers Comedy Club and Restaurant. Second place wins a $50 gift card, and third place wins a huge side of fries. Top Three Soup or Bowl Winners will come back for semi final rounds and the end of the year and The top three performers from each playoff round will be invited to perform in The Clyde´s Cup to be held once a year. OVER 360 Comedians and the Clyde's Cup is down to the top 10 of those. Amy Witry hails from Tipton, Iowa (population 3000). With only one stoplight in the county she spent her childhood eating corn, performing clown shows for her neighborhood, and recreating scenes from The Dukes of Hazzard. In between bad dates and stoplights Amy hosts and performs at comedy clubs, festivals, charity events and in random backyards from Los Angeles to NYC. She has completed the entire writing program at Second City and The Groundlings. She´s also performed at Coachella. Amy has season tickets to the New Orleans Saints and travels to the Big Easy for home games. In addition to being a professional sports fan she has also completed marathons, triathlons and she broke her face surfing in Costa Rica. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Brenda Lamberty arrived in sunny CA at the age of 21. For nine years she traveled all around the state performing in many theater houses. In 2007 she discovered her passion for Stand up comedy and since then she has performed in many clubs around Los Angeles, including The Laugh Factory, The Comedy Union and The Downtow Comedy Club where she is a regular. Her acting career continues to grow, she has appeared in shows like Reality Hell and recently shot a webisode for the company dumbdumb.com produced and staring Jason Bateman. Actress-writer-comedian Kimrie Lewis-Davis was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. Kimrie's a graduate of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and is a 3rd grade spelling be champ. She has performed at NXNE Comedy Festival, NY Comedy Festival, San Diego IndieFest. She played Reporter Ashley on ABC's Scandal for 4 seasons. Kimrie has also made guest appearances on FOX, NBC, ABC, including New Girl and The Neighbors. Her breakout film role was the character Meg in Peeples, alongside Kerry Washington, Craig Robinson, and David Alan Grier.
