Kevin Seo was born in Anaheim, CA on August 28, 1988. He grew up a pretty normal kid, as he spent his time studying, reading, playing outside, and daydreaming. He even wanted to be a stand-up comic for a little after being fascinated with Jim Carrey and his movies. He went on to study at UCLA while pursuing a career in acting. Comedian Scott Shimamoto FLAPPERS, COMEDY STORE , THE ICE HOUSE, IMPROV , LAUGH FACTORY
Scott Shimamoto grew up an outcast and popular kid at the same time. A product of Schurr High School in Montebello, California, Shimamoto continued his education at the University of Southern California.
Shimamoto credits his Latino friends for helping him talk smack on stage. "I grew up with a bunch of Mexican people that treated talking smack as a competitive sport. I quickly learned to dish out and take verbal abuse without taking it personally."
Shimamoto also produces many charity fundraiser comedy shows. They have benefited the American Cancer Society , YMCA, Rebuilding Together, and many others.
Shimamoto opened for Tommy Davidson at ACASA´s inaugural fundraising comedy show at Flapper´s in Burbank, California. He also opened for Paul Rodriguez.
