The nuns in middle school punished him for his jokes in class. His life changed watching the ugliest boy in school captivate the girls with the seductive power of the guitar. Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, John relocated to Los Angeles in 2012 to pursue his dream of becoming a Hollywood screenwriter. On a dare from a friend, he attended an open mic, and instantly fell in love with stand-up. These days, he has turned to writing and performing comedy full time, and has since completed two full length screenplays entitled "Sex Addicts" and "Cabbie."
