Amy R. Balfour Dodd is a humor writer and comedian who grew up on the dangerous streets of Northridge, CA. She is a winner of the Paul N. and Eleanor T. Lazarus Scholarship for Screenwriting from UCSB, after which, she went on to do almost no screenwriting at all. She has a Masters Degree in Professional Writing from USC, but she only minored in B.S. Amy's thesis was a humor book about embracing your inner slob, which makes one wonder how she ever earned her degree in the first place.
