Lisa is an accomplished stand up comic, writer, singer, actress and producer. Her first professional gig was singing at Tokyo Disneyland. She spent another few months singing on a cruise ship, followed by four years on the road with the 50's rock group "Sha Na Na". In 1995, some jackass at the Hollywood Improv told her, "pretty women can�t be funny" so Lisa created "Pretty, Funny Women"...the longest running all female comedy show in the world. She has appeared on Comics Unleashed, Stand up in Stilettos, The Montreal and Chicago Comedy festivals and clubs across the country.. She has written on �Girls Behaving Badly�, �Chelsea Lately�, �Coach Charming� and was a producer on �Parental Discretion with Stefanie Wilder-Taylor� for Nick Mom. She has done hundreds of national commercials and voice-overs, including campaigns for Vons/Safeway, Mattel, Ford, and Kraft. Her hobbies include gambling and, well, thats it.
PRETTY, FUNNY WOMEN is the longest running, all female stand-up comedy show in the world. Created in 1995 by comedienne and producer, LISA SUNDSTEDT, aka, The Heidi Fleiss of Comedy, Pretty, Funny Women has been seen in several venues over the past 20 years including The Hollywood Improv, The Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas, The Comedy Stop at the Trop in Atlantic City, The La Jolla Comedy Store, Flappers Comedy Club and The Comedy Store in Hollywood. The show features a different line up each month and the hottest up and coming female talent in the business. Many of these comics can be seen on network television series, national commercials and hit sitcoms. Some of the women who have performed on PFW shows over the years are Sarah Silverman, Chelsea Handler, Tig, Natasha Leggero, Sherri Shepherd and Sarah Tiana. Lisa has a keen eye for talent and she always puts together a solid line up of future comedy stars. Stand up comedy has never looked so good!
