Hal Sparks is an actor, comedian and political activist. As a member of the famed Second City Troupe, his quick wit and affable personality quickly gained him recognition and acclaim and he was named the â€"Funniest Teenager In Chicago†by the Chicago Sun Times. Sparks went on to host the Emmy Award- winning â€"Talk Soup†on E! Entertainment Television. He starred for five seasons on Showtime’s hit series â€"Queer As Folk†and appeared in the films â€"Extract,†â€"Spiderman 2†and â€"Dude, Where’s My Car?†Sparks recently starred in his own one hour Showtime comedy special, â€"Charmageddon,†which is now a best-selling DVD. He is a star commentator on VH1's popular â€"I Love the 80’s†series and can be hear every Wednesday on the nationally syndicated â€"Stephanie Miller Radio Show." In July, completed a three -week Middle East military. As a junior at UCSD Kareem started his comedy career as a dare. Before long he was a regular at the La Jolla Comedy Store where he was featured in the documentary film "The Main Room". After graduating from UCSD Kareem returned home to Los Angeles and continued his career working in local clubs such as the Improv, Ice House, Comedy and Magic Club and Flappers. He immediately got television exposure on MTV and B.E.T's Comic View. He participated as a "new face" in Montreal's Just For Laughs Festival.
