Darren Carter, also known as "The Party Starter," is an American stand-up comedian and actor born in Fresno, California. He has been entertaining audiences for over 20 years with his unique style of comedy, which blends observational humor and physical comedy.
Darren Carter's hilarious Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, YouTube Shorts, and podcast have helped him amass over 200,000 followers worldwide.
When Carter is home in Los Angeles, he can be found going to Guitar Center with his teenage son and watching him play every instrument in the building until they get kicked out.

In his twenty’s he left New Jersey and moved to Chicago to do the stand-up and something called Improv. (Between you and me, not all of that Improv stuff was very good.) Then he married a nice girl (who’s not Greek, by the way), and moved to California. I asked, Why you want to move way the hell out there?
Anyways, instead of getting a job he makes movies, writes screenplays, and still does the stand-up (not the Improv, thank Goodness). If you got time go see his show. He’s such a sweet and funny boy. And isn’t he handsome?”
