We value the importance of creating a positive and supportive comedy community, and in order to continue to provide opportunities, we are asking all participants to observe the following code of ethics:
Funny: *PG to PG-13 comedy at the open mics - because the open mics (especially the bar shows) are in shared areas where guests from the mainroom shows (sometimes all ages) are located, we are asking comedians to air on the side of working clean. If you are not sure whether or not your joke is clean or dirty, it’s dirty. It doesn’t need to be squeaky clean, but shouldn’t be any crazier than something you’d see on a Tonight Show set.
*Please do not scream or yell at the top of your lungs. You have a microphone to amplify you. Our rooms are soundproof, but there are other shows already in progress.
Professional: *Please do not bring in ANY outside food or beverage. It’s not allowed any place in the building. Order something to eat or drink with us!
*Please do not bring in any backpacks or anything larger than a purse. This is for security and safety reasons. Keep it in the trunk of your car, please!
*Please treat the staff, comedians, and guests with courtesy and respect.
*Please respect the space. Do not walk through a room to get to another room. Please go and stay in the area where you are performing. If there is a buffet set up for a party or large event, chances are, it’s not your party. Please don’t eat off of any buffets or any special set ups.
Supportive *We are asking all comedians to pay a $5 ticket to the open mic and to observe a one-item minimum per person. We’re doing our best to keep the mics as affordable as possible, given the current challenging economic climate. The Auditions will continue to remain free and open to all.

Born and raised in Miami FL. Currais began performing stand up comedy while attending college at The University of Florida. His high energy performance style and outrageously quirky material gained Currais some local notoriety and a number of high profile shows which included opening spots for comedians like Dan Cummings (Comedy Central) and Finesse Mitchell (Saturday Night Live). 2009 marked Currais�s decision to pursue comedy full time. Currais now performs in Comedy Clubs, bars, colleges and other venues across the United States. He has been featured on ABC, FOX, Rooftop Comedy, The Independent Alligator, and Orlando Magazine. He has opened for the likes of Pauly Shore, David Allen Greer, Adam Hunter, Steve Byrne and Ralphie May. Born and raised outside of West Philadelphia, crowd after crowd, love the relatability in his situational humor. Richy has created a unique brand of comedy that allows each performance to be wonderfully memorable and different. Stories of growing up as the middle child of four with divorced parents and too many past failed relationships makes for nothing but hilarity. Through stand up comedy and “Boy Band” like vocals, Richy has an amazing ability to make everything fun. Comedian Matt McCarthy COMEDY CENTRAL, THE OTHER GUYS, JUST FOR LAUGHS, NY COMEDY FESTIVAL, THE PETE HOLMES SHOW
Matt McCarthy, born in Providence, Rhode Island, began performing as the Fordham University mascot. He was a finalist in the NY Underground Comedy Festival "Emerging Comics Contest," was featured in the Montreal Just for Laughs Festival's "New Faces" category and starred in several national on-camera and voice-over commercials. Matt also won an Emerging Comics of New York award for his role as the regular cable guy on Verizon's national campaign. He recently performed his one-man show at the Upright Citizens Brigade in both New York and LA and recorded a solo CD at Comix in NY. He can currently be seen hosting AMC's "Action Pack" with comedian Nick Stevens. Jay Davis is an actor, comedian and comedy promoter/producer who garnered nationwide attention after appearing in Dane Cook's Tourgasm, a 30-day cross-country-tour-turned-reality-show which also included Cook, Gary Gulman and Robert Kelly, and was given an 8-episode run on HBO. Davis began performing comedy at an early age, and went to Los Angeles to pursue a career in entertainment. After some film and television roles, he began hosting shows and doing a regular stand-up routine at Dublin's, an Irish pub formerly in Hollywood. It was there that he met Cook, when the comedian came in to join the recurring lineup. When the venue closed, Davis toured solo for a while. Dubbed as "the nice guy," during the TV series, Davis was given an occasional hard time by his friends. BOOK
