As a seasoned comedian, Erin has her own Comedy Central Presents, as well as having been on Conan O’Brien, @Midnight, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Chelsea Lately, Arsenio Hall and Last Call With Carson Daly. She has performed at the Montreal Comedy Festival, the San Francisco Sketch Fest, Moontower Comedy Festival in Austin and Limestone Comedy Festival in Bloomington. Foley’s successful comedic podcast Sports Without Balls, produced by the All Things Comedy network, highlights female athletes and provides a platform for women in sports. As a writer, Foley has contributed to NPR’s Live From Here, NBC’s One Big Happy and is currently staffed on season four of One Day at a Time on CBS.
$5 for 5 min + 1 item min Full restaurant and bar service available. Comedians may purchase a video copy of their sets. You MUST ARRIVE BY the start of the mic and stay the entire time.
We value the importance of creating a positive and supportive comedy community, and in order to continue to provide opportunities, we are asking all participants to observe the following code of ethics:
Funny: *PG to PG-13 comedy at the open mics - because the open mics (especially the bar shows) are in shared areas where guests from the mainroom shows (sometimes all ages) are located, we are asking comedians to air on the side of working clean. If you are not sure whether or not your joke is clean or dirty, it’s dirty. It doesn’t need to be squeaky clean, but shouldn’t be any crazier than something you’d see on a Tonight Show set.
*Please do not scream or yell at the top of your lungs. You have a microphone to amplify you. Our rooms are soundproof, but there are other shows already in progress.
Professional: *Please do not bring in ANY outside food or beverage. It’s not allowed any place in the building. Order something to eat or drink with us!
*Please do not bring in any backpacks or anything larger than a purse. This is for security and safety reasons. Keep it in the trunk of your car, please!
*Please treat the staff, comedians, and guests with courtesy and respect.
*Please respect the space. Do not walk through a room to get to another room. Please go and stay in the area where you are performing. If there is a buffet set up for a party or large event, chances are, it’s not your party. Please don’t eat off of any buffets or any special set ups.
Supportive *We are asking all comedians to pay a $5 ticket to the open mic and to observe a one-item minimum per person. We’re doing our best to keep the mics as affordable as possible, given the current challenging economic climate. The Auditions will continue to remain free and open to all.
