We value the importance of creating a positive and supportive comedy community, and in order to continue to provide opportunities, we are asking all comedians and guests to observe the following code of ethics:

Funny:
*PG to PG-13 comedy at the open mics - because the open mics (especially the bar shows) are in shared areas where guests from the mainroom shows (sometimes all ages) are located, we are asking comedians to air on the side of working clean. If you are not sure whether or not your joke is clean or dirty, it’s dirty. It doesn’t need to be squeaky clean, but shouldn’t be any crazier than something you’d see on a Tonight Show set.

*Please do not scream or yell at the top of your lungs. You have a microphone to amplify you. Our rooms are soundproof, but there are other shows already in progress.

Professional:
*Please do not bring in ANY outside food or beverage. It’s not allowed any place in the building. Order something to eat or drink with us!

*Please do not bring in any backpacks or anything larger than a purse. This is for security and safety reasons. Keep it in the trunk of your car, please!

*Please treat the staff, comedians, and guests with courtesy and respect.

*Please respect the space. Do not walk through a room to get to another room. Please go and stay in the area where you are performing. If there is a buffet set up for a party or large event, chances are, it’s not your party. Please don’t eat off of any buffets or any special set ups.

Supportive
*We are asking all comedians to pay a $5 ticket to the open mic and to observe a one-item minimum per person. Comics must be passed by the booking department in order to receive the sign-up links. There are no walk-up performers allowed. The Auditions will continue to remain free and open to all.

By purchasing this ticket, You hereby agree to adhere to the above codes in order to create a positive and supportive environment.

Amir the Amiracle is the only Black and Arabic guitar comedian ever. Growing up in Los Angeles, he always felt confused with his identity because he looked like so many different ethnicities but felt he did not fit in with just one. The nuns in middle school punished him for his jokes in class. His life changed watching the ugliest boy in school captivate the girls with the seductive power of the guitar. Then the miracle happened when he combined his music and jokes, and found his place in comedy. Amiracle has appeared on TLC, Nickelodeon, & Funny or Die. Now he roasts his audiences with serenades, laughs about his bi-racial family differences, and the nuns can’t stop him. www.AmirtheAmiracle.com @amirtheamiracle

He's almost good enough at music to be a musician and almost good enough at comedy to be a comedian.

Head spinning in a caffeinated fugue, Kevin Bennett once found himself shredding down a Martian ski slope with a thousand irate Nephilim howling in his wake. On the way, he rescued twenty damsels, had lunch, and fully calculated Pi. In close company, he goes by “Bennett,” but he moonlights as an accordion-bearing comedian with an eye-patch and a beret, who goes by “French Accent.” He entertains any crowd, be it young, old, clean or "adult". His technique involves regular crowd participation and a musical element with no contemporary parallel.
