She’s so funny, Rosie O’Donnell opened for her. Well, actually Rosie stopped in to do a guest set right before Del went on, but still, Del killed it right after that. Del Harrison or DEL, as most people call her, is very funny. We mean laugh-out-loud-tell-a-friend funny and she’s diverse: a singer, actor, writer, host and one hell of an entrepreneur. In 2009, DEL created Another Sketch Comedy Show online and kicked it off by spoofing the Monique Show (BET). The Mo’Nique Show sketch was so hilarious that Mo’Nique personally called DEL and invited her to be on her show. Since then, Del’s web presence has rendered over 2 million views and her tv and radio appearances have taken flight. Del has been featured on FOX’s Laughs (Season 1 & 2), TruTV’s Friends of the People and the Wendy Williams.

We value the importance of creating a positive and supportive comedy community, and in order to continue to provide opportunities, we are asking all comedians and guests to observe the following code of ethics:
Funny: *PG to PG-13 comedy at the open mics - because the open mics (especially the bar shows) are in shared areas where guests from the mainroom shows (sometimes all ages) are located, we are asking comedians to air on the side of working clean. If you are not sure whether or not your joke is clean or dirty, it’s dirty. It doesn’t need to be squeaky clean, but shouldn’t be any crazier than something you’d see on a Tonight Show set.
*Please do not scream or yell at the top of your lungs. You have a microphone to amplify you. Our rooms are soundproof, but there are other shows already in progress.
Professional: *Please do not bring in ANY outside food or beverage. It’s not allowed any place in the building. Order something to eat or drink with us!
*Please do not bring in any backpacks or anything larger than a purse. This is for security and safety reasons. Keep it in the trunk of your car, please!
*Please treat the staff, comedians, and guests with courtesy and respect.
*Please respect the space. Do not walk through a room to get to another room. Please go and stay in the area where you are performing. If there is a buffet set up for a party or large event, chances are, it’s not your party. Please don’t eat off of any buffets or any special set ups.
Supportive *We are asking all comedians to pay a $5 ticket to the open mic and to observe a one-item minimum per person. Comics must be passed by the booking department in order to receive the sign-up links. There are no walk-up performers allowed. The Auditions will continue to remain free and open to all.

Emma Vernon is a New York-based comedian who performs at clubs all around the city. This past year, she was a competitor in the Caroline's on Broadway March Madness competition and has been performed in festivals including She Makes Me Laugh Femme Fest and UCB's Del Close Marathon.
Emma's been featured on Refinery29 as well as the app Airtime, where she most recently was cast a Weekly News Correspondent on the Airtime show Weird News Now. She is a UCB-trained improviser and is a member of the UCB Academy as well as the hip-hop improv team Off Top.
