Whenever Alycia Cooper appears on the scene, audiences clamor to know, “Who’s that lady?” Alycia is an actress and stand-up comic who has been acting since the age of 5 at Howard University’s Children’s Theater in Washington DC. She’s since acted in such films as “12 Angry Men and Women,” and “Knocked Down.” She was in the pilot episode of “Raising Hope,” and has been featured on “The Parker’s,” and “Grounded for Life.” She’s opened for and ghost written for some of the biggest names in the business. In 2004, Essence Magazine showcased her as “One to Watch,” which she certainly is. You can watch her in the upcoming season as a semi-finalist on NBC’s Last Comic Standing 2015.

We value the importance of creating a positive and supportive comedy community, and in order to continue to provide opportunities, we are asking all comedians and guests to observe the following code of ethics:
Funny: *PG to PG-13 comedy at the open mics - because the open mics (especially the bar shows) are in shared areas where guests from the mainroom shows (sometimes all ages) are located, we are asking comedians to air on the side of working clean. If you are not sure whether or not your joke is clean or dirty, it’s dirty. It doesn’t need to be squeaky clean, but shouldn’t be any crazier than something you’d see on a Tonight Show set.
*Please do not scream or yell at the top of your lungs. You have a microphone to amplify you. Our rooms are soundproof, but there are other shows already in progress.
Professional: *Please do not bring in ANY outside food or beverage. It’s not allowed any place in the building. Order something to eat or drink with us!
*Please do not bring in any backpacks or anything larger than a purse. This is for security and safety reasons. Keep it in the trunk of your car, please!
*Please treat the staff, comedians, and guests with courtesy and respect.
*Please respect the space. Do not walk through a room to get to another room. Please go and stay in the area where you are performing. If there is a buffet set up for a party or large event, chances are, it’s not your party. Please don’t eat off of any buffets or any special set ups.
Supportive *We are asking all comedians to pay a $5 ticket to the open mic and to observe a one-item minimum per person. Comics must be passed by the booking department in order to receive the sign-up links. There are no walk-up performers allowed. The Auditions will continue to remain free and open to all.

Chris Curtin, born in The Bronx NY. Some of my humor comes from being raised in a single parent home long before was cool. I've been doing stand up since the 3rd grade mostly in the princepal's office. If not for cracking up my mom, I would have wound up in an all boys reform school.(looking back that might have worked for me, gay as a picnic basket!) Started performing officially in 2006 when I moved to Florida (not a joke but it could be) I see and think in funny, but I turn both my joy and sorrow into gold! It excites me to step on stage and take the mic. If only some of those nuns were alive today! Ha! My mission statement is to make people laugh! There is just nothing else in the world like laughing. Martin Montana is a comedian, actor, and host based in Los Angeles. In 2018 he became the host of RENEGADES, a celebrity sports show at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas featuring Jose Canseco, Terrell Owens, and Jim McMahon. He was the voice of the beer Shock Top for 4 years, a campaign which ran in both the U.S. and Canada and had a Super Bowl commercial. Joyner got his start in comedy as a teen in high school in Washington D.C. After high school, Joyner attended South Carolina State University as a Theater major. Since then, he has went on to open and share the stage with several notable comedians such as Faizon Love and Jerry Seinfeld, and also performed at renowned comedy clubs like Gotham,The comedy store, and the Comic Strip. In addition to performing in shows, Joyner has launched a number of solo projects which include his one man show, �Why So Serious?�, that debuted at the Capital Fringe Festival in 2012..and he also performed at the Gilda Laughfest Comedy Festival in Grand rapids, Michigan. Titelman wrote and acted in Lemons Are for Emergencies Only, which was performed in her own kitchen in Los Angeles in 2006 before appearing at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2007. Her play In Tubes was produced at HERE Arts in NYC, and her solo show Filthy was performed at experimental Los Angeles theater Machine Project in 2015. She is a graduate of Upright Citizens Brigade, and is best known for her regular appearances as a roundtable panelist on Chelsea Lately, as well as her roles on Parks and Recreation, New Girl and Veronica Mars. Based in Los Angeles, California, by way of Cleveland, Ohio, comedy has always been an interest of Joseph Adams. He fell in love around 2005. Joseph began to struggle with the disease, Makuladegeneration, which took over his sight. After a long stretch of 7 years, Joseph thought he would never get back on stage. Upon sitting in and watching his friend do standup, he had this very vivid revelation where Joseph saw himself on the stage again. Blind comedy. The visually animated storytelling style that Joseph has incorporated into his act keeps his audience on the edge of their seats laughing.
