SCOUT DURWOOD is a recent LA transplant having spent the last five years in New York City. She is a chanteuse and comedienne as well as a founding member of Mighty Little Productions. Her one woman musical, "Hi, How Can I Help You?" debuted in August 2010 at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival and was developed thanks to a grant from Brooklyn Arts Exchange. Her work has been featured on The Howard Stern Show, CBS Radio, The Miss America Pageant, Comix Comedy Club, Gotham, Joe’s Pub, La Mama, Duane Park, Galapagos Art Space, and just about every venue in New York City with a stage and a mic. Carolyn Luckett is using her insight and humor to her advantage onstage. She has been performing comedy since November 2011 and has been telling her side of what its like to be single again in her forties and dating outside her comfort zone.
Carolyn has been compared to the amazing Roseanne Barr and the late Gilda Radner. She has a somewhat innocent approach onstage and is flattered by the comparisons and agrees that she does seem to have very similar hair to Gilda's. She is funny without being crude or offensive and is very down to earth and truly enjoys interacting with her audiences. She openly shares with her audiences about online dating, cultural differences and her personal experiences with dating Latino men.
