Comedians: comedians must come to the auditions and be passed to perform. Upon being passed, comedians will receive the link to sign up. Comedians must arrive by start of mic in order to participate. Comedians may no longer sign up at the start of the mic, but must ign up in advance ONLINE only. NOTE: purchasing the ticket below does NOT include performance - this is for guests only. We value the importance of creating a positive and supportive comedy community, and in order to continue to provide opportunities, we are asking all comedians and guests to observe the following code of ethics:
Funny: *PG to PG-13 comedy at the open mics - because the open mics (especially the bar shows) are in shared areas where guests from the mainroom shows (sometimes all ages) are located, we are asking comedians to air on the side of working clean. If you are not sure whether or not your joke is clean or dirty, it’s dirty. It doesn’t need to be squeaky clean, but shouldn’t be any crazier than something you’d see on a Tonight Show set.
*Please do not scream or yell at the top of your lungs. You have a microphone to amplify you. Our rooms are soundproof, but there are other shows already in progress.
Professional: *Please do not bring in ANY outside food or beverage. It’s not allowed any place in the building. Order something to eat or drink with us!
*Please do not bring in any backpacks or anything larger than a purse. This is for security and safety reasons. Keep it in the trunk of your car, please!
*Please treat the staff, comedians, and guests with courtesy and respect.
*Please respect the space. Do not walk through a room to get to another room. Please go and stay in the area where you are performing. If there is a buffet set up for a party or large event, chances are, it’s not your party. Please don’t eat off of any buffets or any special set ups.
Supportive *We are asking all comedians to pay a $5 ticket to the open mic and to observe a one-item minimum per person. Comics must be passed by the booking department in order to receive the sign-up links. There are no walk-up performers allowed. The Auditions will continue to remain free and open to all.

Born in Detroit and raised in upstate New York, Dave Reinitz grew up working in the restaurant business and spent years traveling the country in an old motorhome before finally settling in Los Angeles. And after a couple of dear friends signed him up for a comedy class, he was forever changed. Since then, Dave has performed in 6 countries and throughout the US alongside many of the biggest names in comedy. He has released 4 comedy specials: “Side Effects May Include” (2001), “Bowling for Common Sense” (2006), “Live in Bangladesh” (2014), and most recently, “Sharing” (2018). He has an eclectic set of credits including: “This American Life,” “Celebrity Near Death Experiences,” Hustler Magazine, and several appearances on “The Jimmy Dore Show.” Dave was also a founding member of the “Anti-War Comedy Tour,” and the “99% Funnies,” and produced and created the documentary, “The Women of Nostrand and Greene.” WEBSITE |

Ron Josol is probably the most recognized Asian comedian in Canada thanks to shows like Muchmusic’s Video on Trial, his own episode of Comedy Now, and profiles on channels like Discovery Channel, MTV Canada and the Biography Channel Canada. Internationally he’s performed on two specials on Showtime Dubai, ABS-CBN’s Slanted Comedy (taped at the San Jose Improv) and his first U.S. national spot at Hollywood’s LOL Comedy Festival on Showtime USA. This winner of the Just for Laughs Homegrown Competition has hosted his own series, Flip, on the onmi2 network, and co-wrote, produced and starred in Rolling Longoniza, a short film based on his true story which aired on CBC Zflicks. With gigs in the Caribbean, Persian Gulf, Pacific Islands, and at International Comedy Festival 2k8 to his credit, it’s likely Ron Josol will continue to be recognized wherever laughter is in high demand. As a founding member of St. Louis rock band Ludo, Tim Convy has performed on The Tonight Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, MTV, and at venues and festivals all over the country where his band played songs about “finger-banging hearts” and “swarming pterodactyls.” After the band, Tim studied improvisation at The Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theater in New York and began performing stand-up comedy at a few of the country’s legendary comedy venues and several terrible ones. Tim’s material stems from his decade on the road, his Midwestern upbringing, and all his romantic relationships, from the miserably failed to the mildly successful.
