Ai Yoshiahara, otherwise known as the Japanese Feminist, decided to leave Japan because, well feminists don’t exist in Japan. She came to America to express her opinions and meet the man of her dream. Unfortunately after a brief marriage and many failed attempts of Jobs in the Hospitality industry, Ai felt she had a lot to share with the world. Inspired by the comedy of Lucille Ball, Jim Carrey, and Dave Chappelle, she decided to ditch all expected Asian job expectations and try her hand at comedy. After she lost her younger sister and biggest fan, to suicide 9 years ago, she realized life is too short. It was after this life changing experience. She decided to devote herself to Stand Up Comedy. You can see Ai in Gus Van Sant's movie "The Sea of Trees."
