After a lengthy teaching career and authoring two books of light verse, Richard made a late entry into the standup circuit in 2017.
His ten minute set at the Newhall Repertory Theater "brought down the house" and he's been busy ever since. There's been multiple appearances at JR's Comedy Club, the Ventura Harbor Comedy Club, Flappers, Pine Mountain, and of course, return visits to the Repertory Theater.

Then tried Standup, travelled the country performing for five years. Coach working television writers and producers. Recently retuned to standup, which makes me very happy.
