You've seen Vicki Wagner on ABC, NBC, TLC and Bravo! She has headlined events across the country and is often tapped to emcee private events and fundraisers. Vicki is a cross between Roseanne, Howard Stern Oprah Winfrey and Larry David. Her straight talking webshow, “Lesbian Knows Best,” in which she gives advice to straight people has had over 900,000 views. Vicki can often be found as one of her zany characters, “Bessie May,” “Song Li” or “Sugga Sug” doing improv and sketch comedy. Her quick wit allows her to easily improv on the spot and she is not afraid to make fun of herself. You will finding her joking about getting kicked out of the military for being gay, current events, and hot topics.

We value the importance of creating a positive and supportive comedy community, and in order to continue to provide opportunities, we are asking all participants to observe the following code of ethics:
Funny: *PG to PG-13 comedy at the open mics - because the open mics (especially the bar shows) are in shared areas where guests from the mainroom shows (sometimes all ages) are located, we are asking comedians to air on the side of working clean. If you are not sure whether or not your joke is clean or dirty, it’s dirty. It doesn’t need to be squeaky clean, but shouldn’t be any crazier than something you’d see on a Tonight Show set.
*Please do not scream or yell at the top of your lungs. You have a microphone to amplify you. Our rooms are soundproof, but there are other shows already in progress.
Professional: *Please do not bring in ANY outside food or beverage. It’s not allowed any place in the building. Order something to eat or drink with us!
*Please do not bring in any backpacks or anything larger than a purse. This is for security and safety reasons. Keep it in the trunk of your car, please!
*Please treat the staff, comedians, and guests with courtesy and respect.
*Please respect the space. Do not walk through a room to get to another room. Please go and stay in the area where you are performing. If there is a buffet set up for a party or large event, chances are, it’s not your party. Please don’t eat off of any buffets or any special set ups.
Supportive *We are asking all comedians to pay a $5 ticket to the open mic and to observe a one-item minimum per person. We’re doing our best to keep the mics as affordable as possible, given the current challenging economic climate. The Auditions will continue to remain free and open to all.
