Carl De Gregorio is an actor, comedian, and writer (The Drama King available on Amazon) who might be the author of this mini-biography. Getting an early start, Carl performed at New York City's Lincoln Center, while still in grade school, and later graduated from the prestigious Carnegie Mellon University School of Drama. He soon after, got his start in commercials for products such as Tylenol, Pizza Hut, and Budweiser. You might have seen Carl, regularly on The Countdown on Reelz, as well as appearances on Chelsea Lately, on E! Network, Hollywood's Top Ten, on Reelz Channel, the FX series Legit, and soon on HBO's Room 104. Writing in the third person is not as fun as speaking in the third person, which Carl D. does often. Pretending to be me is harder than I thought.

Funny: *PG to PG-13 comedy at the open mics - because the open mics (especially the bar shows) are in shared areas where guests from the mainroom shows (sometimes all ages) are located, we are asking comedians to air on the side of working clean. If you are not sure whether or not your joke is clean or dirty, it’s dirty. It doesn’t need to be squeaky clean, but shouldn’t be any crazier than something you’d see on a Tonight Show set.
*Please do not scream or yell at the top of your lungs. You have a microphone to amplify you. Our rooms are soundproof, but there are other shows already in progress.
Professional: *Please do not bring in ANY outside food or beverage. It’s not allowed any place in the building. Order something to eat or drink with us!
*Please do not bring in any backpacks or anything larger than a purse. This is for security and safety reasons. Keep it in the trunk of your car, please!
*Please treat the staff, comedians, and guests with courtesy and respect.
*Please respect the space. Do not walk through a room to get to another room. Please go and stay in the area where you are performing. If there is a buffet set up for a party or large event, chances are, it’s not your party. Please don’t eat off of any buffets or any special set ups.
Supportive *We are asking all comedians to pay a $5 ticket to the open mic and to observe a one-item minimum per person. We’re doing our best to keep the mics as affordable as possible, given the current challenging economic climate. The Auditions will continue to remain free and open to all.

Alex Powers is an American-Israeli stand-up comedian, television writer, and model. As a comic, she has been described as a â€"pervy, middle-aged man trapped in the body of a cute Jewish lesbian.†Her stand-up has been characterized as edgy, unpredictable, and remarkably smart.
