Sumukh Torgalkar has organized numerous comedy festivals and independent shows in the Midwest. He tours the country performing anywhere from independent stages to comedy clubs to corporate events all while accomplishing what one audience member described as “the impossible task of being funny to a group of people ranging from their early 20s all the way to their 80s.” He has opened for such major acts as Reggie Watts, Russell Peters, Kyle Kinane, and Chad Daniels. Torgalkar also works as a freelance comedy writer and has contributed to MAD magazine. He released his first stand-up comedy album, The Mispronunciation of Sumukh Torgalkar, appeared in the top 10 of the iTunes comedy charts and has drawn rave reviews from fans and critics alike.
In response to the President-elect’s repeated threats on human rights, comedians in over 20 cities are coordinating shows to raise money for the ACLU on Inauguration Day Weekend for the WHAT A JOKE Comedy Fest, organized by New York comedians Jenn Welch (The New York Comedy Festival) and Emily Winter (Writer for TV Land, Fusion TV). From Thursday, January 19th, through Saturday, January 21st, benefit comedy shows under the name WHAT A JOKE will take place simultaneously around the country and in the UK. Because seriously, what a joke. A portion of the proceeds from this week's show will go to the ACLU.

Mike Larsen is an Emmy nominated writer who has found success in three highly competitive fields " stand-up comedy, television and politics. He’s made many television appearances as a comedian, including multiple sets on The Tonight Show.
As a TV writer, his credits include Two Guys & a Girl, Ellen, The Drew Carey Show, Grace Under Fire, Rodney, Reba, Sabrina the Teenage Witch and Whoopi. He also served as Executive Producer and show-runner of the outrageous Disney XD comedy Crash & Bernstein and received Emmy and Writer’s Guild Award nominations for his writing on HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher. Mike is also a sought-after political speechwriter and in 2008, took a three-year break from television to serve as Communications Director for Congresswoman Jackie Speier.
