He's performed Stand-Up Comedy at venues such as The Ice House, Flappers Comedy Club, The Comedy Store and local Bars where available all throughout California. He has also performed and received Improv training at U.C.B.T. in Los Angeles. Edgar's comedy style can best be described as funny, witty stuff... Born and raised in Las Vegas, New Mexico, Jose Maestas moved to LA for a life in stand up comedy.Â
Having written and performed comedy since he was 18, Jose hit the ground running in LA and has performed at many well-known clubs with an energetic brand of physical comedy, impressions, and characters. Growing up Chicano shaped his sense of humor, love of family, and his perspective on America.
Jose has performed as a feature act for America’s Got Talent Alum Preacher Lawson, and has opened for Amir K. He can often be seen at the Hollywood Improv; performing in line-ups with Sebastian Maniscalco, David Spade, Neal Brennan and more.Â
His accolades include â€"Best in Show†at the Burbank Comedy Festival and NBC’s Nosotros monologue Finalist.

Robert has performed at The World Famous Improv and The Laugh Factory. Robert Zapata has performed with celebrity comedians Willie Barcena and Paul Rodriguez at the Legends Casino in Washington. Jon Lovitz, and Arie Spears at The Laugh Factory and Chris Kid Reid, Monique Marvez, and Joey Coco Diaz at The Hollywood Improv. Robert then went on the road and featured for Willie Barcena for 2 years, while on tour he developed his first half hour special titled, “Why Are You Acting so Tall?”. Look Out for it! Robert’s is now headlining and already working on his half hour special tittle, “Single, Broken and Not Famous”.
Robert has also performed for our troops the Army at Fort Bliss in El Paso Texas, the Marines at camp Foster in Okinawa Japan, our Air force in Manas Kyrgyzstan and in Herat, Shindan and Ferat Afghanistan.
