Nikki Castellanos was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. Growing up she would emulate and mimic almost everything she watched on TV. When she was a child it made her unhappy to know that she did not live in the same realm as the cartoon characters she watched did, because she felt (and still feels) that she is secretly a cartoon character. Making people laugh, including herself, has always been an important part of her life. Her therapist says it is a defense mechanism to avoid her deep rooted issues, but Nikki actually sees it as positive part of personality. She has a long standing love affair with writing poetry, but lately has had a great time writing and discovering her own comedy material. Nikki likes critically analyzing classic films for her own enjoyment, and she also considers herself to be the ULTIMATE Golden Girls fan.
