Originally from Washington state, I love my flannels, boots, and scarves. I’ve studied at the Seattle’s Children’s Theatre as a kid where I started building my career as an actress. Afterwards, in my later teens I moved from the stage to in front of the camera working with the talented crews of the Pacific Northwest in independent projects, such as the 48HR Film Fest. My break-out role in the motion pictures was in Relativity Media’s, 21 & Over. Since moving to Los Angeles, I’ve found myself doing stand up and have recently started studying improv with Upright Citizens Brigade. I am a proud geek and can most likely “out-nerd” anyone if the challenge arises. Rashel Mereness is a writer living in Los Angeles, California. Currently a staff writer on a monthly internet program, Late Night Cup o’ Joe,” Rashel also performs stand-up comedy and improv throughout Los Angeles.
After completing the UCLA graduate certificate program in Television Writing, Rashel completed her first television pilot script, entitled “Boomtown,” which has won numerous awards in several film festivals. Prior to that, Rashel’s first short film, which she wrote, directed and performed in, “$40 Million,” was nominated for Best Comedy Short at the Action on Film Festival in 2012.
When not writing and performing, Rashel works on the marketing and advertising for a bar she co-owns with two partners and tries to find time to get out of LA to go skiing. Patrick Jara prides himself in being a Bulls fan born and raised in Chicago, IL. He had a previous career as a professional gamer and stands by his opinion that Halo 2 is the best game of the series. He wanted to be a fighter pilot so tested the waters by joining the Army where he served 4 years in Korea and Germany. During his time abroad, he figured the odds were slim to none to becoming a fighter pilot so thought a career as a professional comedian were more obtainable. On his return, he hit the ground running doing stand-up and improv in his hometown.
