BOOK
Comedian Tammy Jo Dearen

One of the most prolific producers and talent bookers in Los Angeles, Tammy Jo Dearen has been producing shows since 2008 when she started with a simple desire to give her friends more stage time. Dearen and her wife, Nikole, have a reputation for producing the best shows in town featuring some of the nations most celebrated talent and hand-picked fresh faces.

Dearen worked with the prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival Montréal 2018/2019 on the small team that scouts and selects â€"New Faces”. Pre-Pandemic, the power couple produced the weekly sold out show â€"BITCH” at the Comedy Store as part of their 10 year residency.
Once the Pandemic and shutdowns began, they pivoted, creating the only completely legal Covid-compliant Los Angeles standup productions: â€"Magic Asphalt: Comedy Under the Stars”standup comedy drive-in style on the grounds of the Magic Castle.

Dearen has a unique perspective on the evolution of what the industry is looking for in today’s market, having roots as a standup comic, as well as a producer, talent booker and occasional coach. Intuition, creativity and inventiveness make her curated show productions an â€"experience”, not just a standup comedy show. She is passionate about pushing comedy forward with the inclusion of diverse voices.
