Every year, top celebrity headlining comedians, and over 200 of the hottest new talent from around the world, converge in Burbank, California for a full week of shows, industry panels, afterparties, classes, and more! Past performers have included Adam Carolla, Jeff Garlin, Jimmy Dore, Tom Segura, Christopher Titus, Carol Leifer, Kevin Pollak, and many more. The Burbank Comedy Festival offers the next generation of talent the opportunity to perform and connect with top entertainment professionals, to encourage the expansion live comedy into the community, and to do some funny business in Downtown Burbank!

Suwon Weaver is a native from Los Angeles. Her comedy reflects her take on life, being Korean and mixed Black and also being a lesbian, or bi or pan. Growing up in the Valley, she spent countless hours watching I love Lucy and The Bob Newhart Show, where she developed both a silly and dry sense of humor that landed her in the principal’s office for being a 10 year old "smart-mouthâ€. Suwon i has performed in clubs all over the greater Los Angeles area including the Comedy Store, Levity Live and the Ice House and also is the producer of the the Hot Medusa Comedy Show since 2018. Comedian Catherine Donnelly IN ICE COLD BLOOD - TLC, SEX SENT ME TO THE ER, MY CRAZY SEX, A CHRISTMAS CRUISE,
A California native, Catherine Donnelly grew up in Orange County, and was raised Catholic. Growing up with three sisters, she is the middle child of two attorneys. She graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Psychology and became a risk management insurance broker just out of college. She quickly discovered that the cubicle was sucking the life out of her and decided to quit to become a fitness instructor. She trained clients at the Biggest Loser Resort in Malibu until she got kicked out for wearing short shorts. After stumbling upon UCB and watching comedians like Lauren Lapkus and Mary Holland, Catherine began taking improv and sketch classes and has been hooked on comedy ever since. Ashwyn's comedy focuses on telling people jokes that are singular in nature, and tries to make a point through humor. As an immigrant that moved when he was 19, Ashwyn went to University in Canada, and moved early enough to learn to fully assimilate with western culture. As someone that grew up in one culture but fully understands a couple others, Ashwyn provides a fresh take on the way an immigrant actually views issues of race, and explores the absurdities in social convention.
