Let's do some funny business at the Burbank Comedy Festival! Every year, top celebrity headlining comedians, and over 200 of the hottest new talent from around the world, converge in Burbank, California for a full week of shows, industry panels, afterparties, classes, and more! Past performers have included Adam Carolla, Jeff Garlin, Jimmy Dore, Tom Segura, Christopher Titus, Carol Leifer, Kevin Pollak, and many more. The Burbank Comedy Festival offers the next generation of talent the opportunity to perform and connect with top entertainment professionals, to encourage the expansion live comedy into the community, and to do some funny business in Downtown Burbank!

Francis Cronin is an Irish born and raised comedian, actor, writer, producer and ex-Irish army officer. In 2012 Frank won the 'People's Choice Award' at the WAFF Awards and was nominated for an 'Outsider - Person of the Year Award' in 2013 for his comedic documentary series about living in a tent for his entire final year of university. He has performed in front of crowds from 50-5000. He co-wrote the hit Irish comedy series 'The Boys.' and wrote and starred in BlackPills's 'SuperHigh.' Francis has made numerous TV appearances in Ireland and America and you can catch him on Fox's Laugh'sTV. Francis has also worked with SNL alumni on beyondthecomics.com and stars in Equal's Three viral sketches which garner over 50 million views a month globally. Gena B Jones is a comedian and writer new to Los Angeles. Aside from reliably spilling coffee on her shirt and crying in nightclubs, she spends most of her time writing scripts, doing stand-up and performing sketch comedy. She has performed in the Brown University Comedy Conference, at the People's Improv Theater in New York, at the Bechdel Test Fest in Philadelphia, in her grandmother's backyard and in many questionable basements. Comedian Doug Sanders
YOUNGSTOWN COMEDY FEST, THE ROXXXY HAZE SHOW, BURBANK COMEDY FESTIVAL
Doug Sanders is a standup comedian and writer. He is half-white, half-Asian, and was raised by very nice white people in Ohio. He was groundbreaking as the first Asian Fonzie during Halloween 1995. After escaping Ohio, he lived in Chicago and now lives Houston, Texas, where many nice people confuse him as being Mexican.
He has performed his standup around the country. Doug was on the 2018 Youngstown Comedy Festival and now the 2018 Burbank Comedy Festival.
Doug is also a creative writer. He studied under the short story writer, Lee K. Abbott at Ohio State. Doug’s fiction and creative nonfiction has been published in The New Plains Review, Umbrella Factory and The Broadkill Review.
In his personal life, Doug loves standup comedy, late-night TV, interviews, podcasts and finding out what makes people tick. He looks like he works out … but he totally doesn’t. Shhh, that’s our little secret.

As a card carrying member of AARP, Joel Brill has pretty much seen it all, done it all and can’t remember most of it. He shares the bits and pieces that he can remember about life, with side splitting results. Born and Raised in Providence, RI Comedian Rui Montilla recently made the move west and is now based out of San Diego, CA. Rui is known for his likable and positive energy on stage. He gives audiences his perspective as a recently married millennial who is far from ready to handle the tasks traditional husbands are expected to manage. Growing up bi-racial and with young immigrant parents shaped Rui's perspective and provide his audiences with a unique outlook on life and dealing with family. Ultimately, Rui strives to make anyone who comes out to a show feel like they're hanging out with an old friend who is updating them on life since they last spoke. In 2018 Rui was a Finalist in San Diego's Funniest Person Contest at the Mad House Comedy Club.
