Every year, top celebrity headlining comedians, and over 200 of the hottest new talent from around the world, converge in Burbank, California for a full week of shows, industry panels, afterparties, classes, and more! Born and raised in Las Vegas, New Mexico, Jose Maestas moved to LA for a life in stand up comedy. Having written and performed comedy since he was 18, Jose hit the ground running in LA and has performed at many well-known clubs with an energetic brand of physical comedy, impressions, and characters. Growing up Chicano shaped his sense of humor, love of family, and his perspective on America. Dan Hurwitz is a disabled, Black, and Jewish writer, comedian, and filmmaker. In 2018, he co-founded The Disabled List, a troupe of disabled comedians from the Pacific Northwest. Dan was a semi-finalist in both the Laugh-Off Comedy Competition (2019) and the Stand-Up NBC comedy competition (2019). During the Covid-19 pandemic, Dan co-wrote, co-directed, and co-starred in “This Is Spinal Injury” (2021), a mockumentary about a group of disabled comedians trying to put on a comedy show during quarantine. Born and raised in Tallahassee, FL, George once had dreams of playing professional basketball in the NBA. However, he decided the world wasn't ready for his talents and chose instead to earn a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. Julianne is a musical comedian, actor, and writer. Originally from Atlanta by way of Chicago, she has trained and performed at The Second City Chicago, iO Chicago, and The Annoyance Theatre. She was recently featured in the Burbank Comedy Festival's Best of the Fest and hosts a monthly comedy show at The Comedy Nook.
