UNCLE CLYDE´S COMEDY CONTEST - is LA's Longest Running Comedy Contest, and you pick the winners. . There are eight preliminary rounds. In each preliminary round, 10 comics performs a five-minute set. A special guest performer or group is invited to perform at "Half Time" and at "Math Time" (the end of the show while the votes are being tallied). The 1st place winner receives $101.00 Cash Prize, 2nd place receives a $50.00 gift card from Flappers Comedy Club or from another location, and 3rd place gets a Clyde´s traditional Huge Side of French Fries. The top finishers will be invited to perform in the Soup-Or-Bowl finals. Each Soup-Or-Bowl Audience Vote winner will receive $500.00 cash and the Judges Vote will receive a Professional Gig at Flappers Comedy Club and Restaurant. Second place wins a $50 gift card, and third place wins a huge side of fries. Top Three Soup or Bowl Winners will come back for semi final rounds and the end of the year and The top three performers from each playoff round will be invited to perform in The Clyde´s Cup to be held once a year. OVER 360 Comedians and the Clyde's Cup is down to the top 10 of those. One Winner will get their name on a huge Trophy, along with a $2000 Cash Grand Prize, a professional gig at Flappers Comedy Club and Restaurant.. YOU the audience pick the winner!
