Rick weaves painfully funny stories about growing up in a white trash area of town with incisive observations about modern culture and the absurd human behaviors that have somehow over time become accepted as normal. Grew up in Eugene, OR (No, I don't sell weed. stop asking). I was always the awkward kid, constantly trying to make people smile yet always coming across as shy. Sometimes I tried to hard to make people like me and ended up sending the wrong message. That could very well have been me compensating for the fact that I am gay but I was way too terrified to tell anyone. I always knew I wanted to do something that made people laugh. After 21 years in Oregon, I moved to southern California. It was here that my sense of humor really started to blossom, no longer confined to jokes about male genitals. When I turned 27, I ended up opening a fortune cookie that had the fortune of " Now is the time to share your humor with everyone." I figured stand-up comedy would be a good outlet for that. BOOK
David (Lumpy) Southworth, 13 years old, born in Denver Colorado. Lumpy got his start in comedy when he was only 11 at the Laugh Factory Comedy Camp taught by Jamie Masada and dozens of Celebrity Comedians. Jamie noticed his talent early on and 3 months after he graduated invited David to open up at the Laugh Factory for a week straight for comic’s like Dane Cook,Paul Rodriguez,Dom Irrera,Ahmed Ahmed,Ruben Paul, PK,Mindy Rickles & Many More. Throughout the last 2 years David has been honing his skills doing shows at the Haha Comedy Café and a walk on at the Hollywood Improv opening up for comics like Damon Wayans Jr,David Arnold,Adam Hunter,Jeff Garcia and many more. Alex Powers is an American-Israeli stand-up comedian, television writer, and model. As a comic, she has been described as a â€"pervy, middle-aged man trapped in the body of a cute Jewish lesbian.†Her stand-up has been characterized as edgy, unpredictable, and remarkably smart.
In 2017, Alex appeared on season 3 of Laughs in a total of two episodes. They originally aired on FOX before becoming available on Hulu. Later that year, Try Not To Laugh: Alex Powers - a Laugh Factory produced compilation of her stand-up - was released on Amazon.
