Jay Davis is an actor, comedian and comedy promoter/producer who garnered nationwide attention after appearing in Dane Cook's Tourgasm, a 30-day cross-country-tour-turned-reality-show which also included Cook, Gary Gulman and Robert Kelly, and was given an 8-episode run on HBO. Davis began performing comedy at an early age, and went to Los Angeles to pursue a career in entertainment. After some film and television roles, he began hosting shows and doing a regular stand-up routine at Dublin's, an Irish pub formerly in Hollywood. It was there that he met Cook, when the comedian came in to join the recurring lineup. When the venue closed, Davis toured solo for a while.
