Though his parents remain skeptical of his profession, he is a comedic force to be reckoned with� headlining clubs across the country and at home in LA! He continues to stay fake humble about his talents, even though his act�s deceptively smart blend of Southern charm and razor sharp wit has earned him appearances on Last Comic Standing, Montreal�s Just for Laughs Festival, and the title of �Wittiest� in Franklin County High School�s 2009 Yearbook. He did not write this bio himself, either. He swears.

We value the importance of creating a positive and supportive comedy community, and in order to continue to provide opportunities, we are asking all participants to observe the following code of ethics:
Funny: *PG to PG-13 comedy at the open mics - because the open mics (especially the bar shows) are in shared areas where guests from the mainroom shows (sometimes all ages) are located, we are asking comedians to air on the side of working clean. If you are not sure whether or not your joke is clean or dirty, it’s dirty. It doesn’t need to be squeaky clean, but shouldn’t be any crazier than something you’d see on a Tonight Show set.
*Please do not scream or yell at the top of your lungs. You have a microphone to amplify you. Our rooms are soundproof, but there are other shows already in progress.
Professional: *Please do not bring in ANY outside food or beverage. It’s not allowed any place in the building. Order something to eat or drink with us!
*Please do not bring in any backpacks or anything larger than a purse. This is for security and safety reasons. Keep it in the trunk of your car, please!
*Please treat the staff, comedians, and guests with courtesy and respect.
*Please respect the space. Do not walk through a room to get to another room. Please go and stay in the area where you are performing. If there is a buffet set up for a party or large event, chances are, it’s not your party. Please don’t eat off of any buffets or any special set ups.
Supportive *We are asking all comedians to pay a $5 ticket to the open mic and to observe a one-item minimum per person. We’re doing our best to keep the mics as affordable as possible, given the current challenging economic climate. The Auditions will continue to remain free and open to all.

Madeline Hatter is a talented comic, skilled actor, and author of the unromantic comedy Lookin’ in the Mirror. She got her start in stand-up at The Laughing Skull in Atlanta, GA. She has performed through the south " in Mississippi, Alabama, all over New Orleans, in Austin, TX, and at the legendary Caroline’s in New York. Her material is mostly self-deprecating. She jabs at social identity, as a mixed heritage Black woman and nerd from Oklahoma who started observing Judaism in Georgia. Her shows can be very silly. She takes great pride in having a 10-minute d**k joke. It can be dark also, with one of her bits taking an absurdist bend to abortion. So keep an open mind! Lance Paullin is a stand up comedian, actor and improvisor in Los Angeles, California. His skewed view of reality and absurd outlook on life allows for an amusingly, abstract styled stand up show.
