Darren Carter, also known as "The Party Starter," is an American stand-up comedian and actor born in Fresno, California. He has been entertaining audiences for over 20 years with his unique style of comedy, which blends observational humor and physical comedy.
Darren Carter's hilarious Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, YouTube Shorts, and podcast have helped him amass over 200,000 followers worldwide.
When Carter is home in Los Angeles, he can be found going to Guitar Center with his teenage son and watching him play every instrument in the building until they get kicked out.
One of the largest and most respected animal welfare groups in Los Angeles, Kitten Rescue is a totally volunteer-run, non-profit dedicated to saving homeless cats and kittens (and sometimes dogs too).
The group saves the lives of 1,000 cats and kittens every year and since it doesn’t shy away from sick and injured kitties, the bills pile up.
To raise money for Kitten Rescue, long-time volunteer Aliye AJ put together this show with generous help from Flappers and her uber-talented comedian friends, including nationally and internationally touring headliners. Come to the show to have a great time and to help save kitties without having to clean one single litter box!

Laura is currently working on a book, turning her dissertation; The Healing Aspects of Laughter as it Pertains to Stress and Burnout (yes officially she is Dr. Laura, but not THAT Dr. Laura) in turn a speakers platform to help heal a world so in need of levity.

For five seasons, she played Reporter Ashley on ABC's Scandal. Kimrie has made numerous TV guest appearances, including: Superstore (NBC), 2 Broke Girls (CBS), The Mindy Project (HULU), New Girl (FOX), Raven�s Home (Disney) and Brockmire (IFC). She also writes for Kevin Hart�s LOL Network new comedy series, The Donors. This fall, she'll be in #2MinutesofFame with Katt Williams and Jay Pharoah.
