We value the importance of creating a positive and supportive comedy community, and in order to continue to provide opportunities, we are asking all participants to observe the following code of ethics:

Funny:
*PG to PG-13 comedy at the open mics - because the open mics (especially the bar shows) are in shared areas where guests from the mainroom shows (sometimes all ages) are located, we are asking comedians to air on the side of working clean. If you are not sure whether or not your joke is clean or dirty, it’s dirty. It doesn’t need to be squeaky clean, but shouldn’t be any crazier than something you’d see on a Tonight Show set.

*Please do not scream or yell at the top of your lungs. You have a microphone to amplify you. Our rooms are soundproof, but there are other shows already in progress.

Professional:
*Please do not bring in ANY outside food or beverage. It’s not allowed any place in the building. Order something to eat or drink with us!

*Please do not bring in any backpacks or anything larger than a purse. This is for security and safety reasons. Keep it in the trunk of your car, please!

*Please treat the staff, comedians, and guests with courtesy and respect.

*Please respect the space. Do not walk through a room to get to another room. Please go and stay in the area where you are performing. If there is a buffet set up for a party or large event, chances are, it’s not your party. Please don’t eat off of any buffets or any special set ups.

Supportive
*We are asking all comedians to pay a $5 ticket to the open mic and to observe a one-item minimum per person. We’re doing our best to keep the mics as affordable as possible, given the current challenging economic climate. The Auditions will continue to remain free and open to all.

Julian Fernandez is a latino comedian and impressionist who started his comedy career at just seventeen years old in Los Angeles, CA. His comedy has been featured on shows like "First Impressions with Dana Carvey" and season 3 of "Laughs" on Fox. He has performed in a number of festivals such as Highlarious, Ventura Harbor Comedy Festival and has won "Best of Fest" during the 2015 Burbank Comedy Festival. In April 2017, Julian was chosen from over 150 comedians to open for Kevin & Bean's April Foolishness in front of over 6,000 people. Julian's comedy has earned him admiration among comedians such as Anjelah Johnson, Bill Burr, Joey Medina, Wendy Liebman, Adam Ray, and many more. His charming personality and spot on celebrity impressions and voices will have audiences falling in love.

Comedian James Camacho
ESPN, THE WENDY WILLIAMS SHOW, NEW YORK'S GOT TALENT
James Camacho is a NYC based comedian. He was a finalist on Season 3 of New York’s Got Talent. James performs regularly at The Comic Strip Live. When not in NYC he can be found at establishments including Catch A Rising Star and The Comedy Works.
James has worked on Elite Daily, The Wendy Williams Show, ESPN, and more. You can see him in the near future on ID Channel’s, A Crime to Remember, and in the upcoming comedy, “What Happened Last Night” staring Amber Rose.
James started doing stand-up as a student at Rutgers University. It was a way for him to tell the jokes he wrote in his screenplays. Now stand-up has moved to the forefront. His uniqueness, his likeability, and his point of view make him one of the most hilarious and interesting new comedians out there! At least that’s what he thinks!

Tommy Rico the Boston Baby Daddy is a surly and cranky wise-cracker with a soft spot for his family from the streets of Massachusetts. He thinks he's the best father and husband any woman could ask for - actual results may vary. He grew up among thugs and bullies, but promises not to let his adorable son become one. He's loud, proud, and doesn't back down from a fight, (unless it's with his wife, a smart and successful attorney). Though he once solved his problems with fists and fury, he's teaching his son empathy and kindness while also learning those lessons himself at the same time. Comedian Jose Maestas
HOLLYWOOD IMPROV , LAUGH FACTORY , BEST IN SHOW BURBANK FEST
Born and raised in Las Vegas, New Mexico, Jose Maestas moved to LA for a life in stand up comedy. 
Having written and performed comedy since he was 18, Jose hit the ground running in LA and has performed at many well-known clubs with an energetic brand of physical comedy, impressions, and characters. Growing up Chicano shaped his sense of humor, love of family, and his perspective on America.
Jose has performed as a feature act for America’s Got Talent Alum Preacher Lawson, and has opened for Amir K. He can often be seen at the Hollywood Improv; performing in line-ups with Sebastian Maniscalco, David Spade, Neal Brennan and more. 
His accolades include â€"Best in Show” at the Burbank Comedy Festival and NBC’s Nosotros monologue Finalist.

Josh Kosh was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. He started comedy at The Laff House Comedy Club in 2007. Josh is a former Salesman and also a father to two boys. He is thoughtful, witty, and sometimes edgy, however, he avoids the raunchiness that characterizes his colleagues on the stand up circuit.

Comedian Kevin Paniagua

30 year old Latino comic born and raised in LA, Kevin started doing stand up as a joke but eventually started taking the jokes serious. Know for his nonchalant dry humor, Kevin prefers to tell a story because, "one liners are for snorting." Kevin is also known as a natural since he naturaly likes telling jokes and being the center of attention. Kevin has performed all over LA and Murieta California. He has performed at the shell of its former self Hollywood Comedy Store, The Ice House, the Haha Cafe, Flappers and the Laugh Fatory open mic. Kevin also won the ACES comedy competition and the HaHa Cafe Next Comic Standing.

Comedian Dorian Vasquez

Based out of Philadelphia, PA, he is the founder and producer of Max Capacity Comedy, and Freehouse Comedy. Dorian has performed across the US and Canada, working with nationally touring acts, like Chad Daniels, Aries Spears, Andy Dick, and Dan Cummins. He’s performed on festivals like the Cleveland Comedy Festival, Gilda’s LaughFest, and the Burbank Comedy Festival. His standup shots have been featured on The Chive and has been a guest on a a number of podcasts including American Immigrant, and Let the Hate Flow Through.
