The one and only night that comedians can do Cover Tunes. Come on out and enjoy Halloween the only way comedians know how by impersonating some of the greatest comedians ever:) Come see George Carlin, Joan Rivers etc...

UNCLE CLYDE'S COMEDY CONTEST - is LA's Longest Running Comedy Contest, and you pick the winners. There are seven preliminary rounds. In each preliminary round, 10 comics performs a five-minute set. A special guest performer or group is invited to perform at Half Time and at Math Time (the end of the show while the votes are being tallied). The 1st place winner receives $101.00 Cash Prize, 2nd place receives a $50.00 gift card from Flappers Comedy Club or from another location, and 3rd place gets a Clyde's traditional Huge Side of French Fries. The top two finishers will be invited to perform in the Soup-Or-Bowl finals. Each Soup-Or-Bowl Audience Vote winner will receive $500.00 cash and the Judges Vote will receive a Professional Gig at Flappers Comedy Club and Restaurant. Second place wins a $50 gift card, and third place wins a huge side of fries. Top Three Soup or Bowl Winners will come back for semi final rounds and the end of the year and The top three performers from each playoff round will be invited to perform in The Clyde's Cup to be held once a year. OVER 360 Comedians and the Clyde's Cup is down to the top 10 of those. One Winner will get their name on a huge Trophy, along with a $2000 Cash Grand Prize ($1000 if a virtual show), a professional gig at Flappers Comedy Club and Restaurant.. YOU the audience pick the winner! Previous Winners have included Bil Dwyer, Bobbie Oliver, Randall Park, Samuel J Comroe, Keon Polee, Quinn Dahle, Cathy Shim, BT Kingsley, and many, many more.

Phyllis Diller was born Phyllis Ada Driver in Lima, Ohio on July 17, 1917-Aug 20 2012 She had German and Irish ancestry (the surname "Driver" had been changed from "Treiber" several generations earlier). She was raised Methodist. Diller was a housewife, mother, and advertising copywriter. During World War II, she lived in Ypsilanti, Michigan while her husband worked at the Willow Run Bomber Plant. In the mid-1950s, she made appearances on The Jack Paar Show and was a contestant on Groucho Marx's quiz show You Bet Your Life. Although she made her career in comedy, Diller had studied the piano for many years. She decided against a career in music after hearing her teachers and mentors play with much more skill than she thought that she would be able to achieve. She still played in her private life, however, and owned a custom-made harpsichord.

His popularity grew, earning him appearances on Late Night with David Letterman and Saturday Night Live. In 1988 Kinison received a Grammy nomination for his comedy album.

Comedian Mitch Hedberg

Mitch Hedberg was born in St. Paul, Minnesota, on February 24, 1968. He began his stand-up career in Florida, and after a period of honing his skills there he moved to Seattle and began touring. He soon appeared on MTV's "Comikaze", then a 1996 appearance on Late Night with David Letterman (1982) brought him his big break. He won the 1997 grand prize at the Seattle Comedy Competition. The next year saw him appearing on Fox's hit series That '70s Show (1998). In 1999 he completed his own independent feature film, Los Enchiladas! (1999), which he wrote, directed, produced and starred in. He has also recorded two comedy CDs entitled "Mitch All Together" and "Strategic Grill Locations". He has appeared at the 2001 Montreal Just For Laughs comedy festival. Mitch Hedberg died on March 30, 2005 of a drug overdose.

Don Adams was born in New York, to a father of Hungarian Jewish descent, and a mother of German and Irish ancestry. He served in the U.S. Marines in World War II and contracted malaria during the fighting on Guadalcanal island. After the war he began a career as a stand-up comic. He married singer Adelaide Adams and adopted her last name as his stage surname. He had seven children altogether, Caroline Adams, Christine, Catherine, Cecily Adams, Stacey Adams, Sean, Beige. His television career began when he won the Ted Mack & the Original Amateur Hour (1948) talent contest.
