Rell Battle started in the entertainment business studying theater at the University of Maryland, College Park, where he later hosted his own late night radio show "WJFK 106.7." This Washington D.C. native later went to work for MTV radio while still in college. After moving to Los Angeles to pursue stand-up, he was quickly chosen to perform as a "New Face" for the Jamie Foxx "Laffapalooza" festival. Since then, he has performed at comedy clubs venues throughout the country and overseas to entertain the troops. Rell recently performed on the Showtime network special "Chocolate Sundaes," shot at the Saban Theater last fall. Rell just recently landed a pilot deal with Spike TV and will appear on the next season of Comedy Central´s hit sketch show "Key and Peele."
