TJ hails from the great state of Iowa but currently calls Long Beach, California home. S/he is a noted cheese and fish expert, watches Sesame Street on a regular basis, and believes that graduate school was a colossal waste of time. TJ is unlike any other. S/he is queer in both a gender and sexual sense, is a member of the NRA and the ACLU, and has been doing comedy for nearly three decades. TJ is currently working on many comedy projects and hopes to retire from teaching to pursue a full-time career in stand-up. Her students think that would be pretty cool.
