Amanda started doing comedy when she was 17 and before she finished college in Pittsburgh she was showcasing at clubs and colleges across the upper midwest, including many great comedy clubs that don't exist anymore. Then she quit for a few years to study improv at the Second City Conservatory in Chicago but didn't get back into stand-up until an epiphany in 2015 reminded her she was a comedian. After a couple of years in the Chicago scene, she's now based in LA and has showcased at Zanies and The Laugh Factory in Chicago, Flappers in Burbank, and several other venues. Currently she co-hosts the Anti-Viral Open Mic on Zoom and YouTube, 8:30 pm nightly. As a feature she opened for Paula Poundstone, Gilbert Gottfried, Jake Johannson, and many non-alliterative comedians as well. Her influences include George Carlin, Albert Brooks, Paula Poundstone, and Dana Gould.
