In this course students will review the basics of stand up comedy writing technique and Joke Structure. They will learn how to fix a joke that isn't flowing, generate new topics which will lead to stronger jokes and "cut the fat" from material. Additionally, they will find a deeper level of their comedic voice (P.O.V.), learn how to "be in the moment" and "do the show that´s in front of you." This class showcases at the end of the 6-week course. The instructor works with the level of the class and helps everyone find their voice. PLEASE BRING AN AUDIO RECORDING DEVICE TO CLASS.
