Flappers Comedy Club and Restaurant celebrates teh successful years in Downtown Burbank by offering FREE admission to select shows on Fri & Sat, September 4th & 5th, featuring celebrity headliners and some of our Flappers Favorites. This annual Birthday weekend (the only free weekend of the year) is a great opportunity for all those who have not had the chance yet to come out and enjoy one of Burbank's finest comedy and dining establishments. Joe Praino is a comedian, actor and co-host of The Dirty Sports Podcast, which showcases his
immense knowledge of sports. A native New Yorker, Praino was a CBS Page and desk assistant
at the Evening News With Dan Rather before standup comedy won out as his full-time pursuit.
He earned regular spots at the Comic Strip Live and Boston Comedy Club before moving to Los
Angeles where he’s done several indie films and appearances on â€"Now We’re Talking,”
â€"Gotham Comedy Live” and â€"ESPN Instant,” with some of his favorite analysts and
commentators. He’s performed across the country at Gotham, The Stand, Laugh Factory, The
Improv, Flappers and the Westside Comedy Theater, and has interviewed the likes of
writer/director David Zucker, NFL star Shawn Merriman, celebrity personal trainer Duffy Gaver
and NBA star Brian Scalabrine. Praino lives in sunny CA with his surf board and foster dogs.

Born in Detroit and raised in upstate New York, Dave Reinitz grew up working in the restaurant business and spent years traveling the country in an old motorhome before finally settling in Los Angeles. And after a couple of dear friends signed him up for a comedy class, he was forever changed.
Since then, Dave has performed in 6 countries and throughout the US alongside many of the biggest names in comedy. He has released 4 comedy specials: “Side Effects May Include” (2001), “Bowling for Common Sense” (2006), “Live in Bangladesh” (2014), and most recently, “Sharing” (2018). He has an eclectic set of credits including: “This American Life,” “Celebrity Near Death Experiences,” Hustler Magazine, and several appearances on “The Jimmy Dore Show.” Dave was also a founding member of the “Anti-War Comedy Tour,” and the “99% Funnies,” and produced and created the documentary, “The Women of Nostrand and Greene.”

Comedian Jimmy Brogan
TONIGHT SHOW W/LENO, COMIC STRIP LIVE, SHOWTIME
Jim has performed his standup comedy and made guest appearances on The Tonight Show starring Johnny Carson and Late Night with David Letterman.
He also got other TV jobs. He hosted Laffathon (Showtime), Comic Strip Live (Fox) and You Asked For It, Again (Family Channel). The perfectionist that he is, he won't be satisfied until he has been cancelled by all the networks.
Deciding that he could save a few dollars by not hiring a lawyer, he worked for nine years as an indentured servant on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. His areas of responsibility included being a writer and talent coordinator (booking comedians for the show).
Since leaving The Tonight Show, Jim has been busier than ever. Besides doing his standup, he has written two movies and seen three others.
