The Oldest All-Female Stand-Up Comedy Class in Los Angeles. Lisa Sundstedt creates a safe, supportive environment where women can discover, express, and develop their sense of humor.
PRETTY, FUNNY WOMEN is the longest running, all female stand-up comedy show in the world. Created in 1995 by comedienne and producer, LISA SUNDSTEDT (aka, The Madame of Comedy,) PFW has been seen in several venues over the past 20 years including The Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas, The Comedy Stop at the Trop in Atlantic City, The La Jolla Comedy Store and Flappers Comedy Club. PFW features a different line up each month and the hottest up and coming female talent in the business. These comics can be seen on network television series, national commercials and hit sitcoms. Some of the women who have performed on past PFW shows over the years are Sarah Silverman, Chelsea Handler, Tig, Natasha Leggero, Sherri Shepherd and Heather Mc Donald. Lisa also teaches comedy classes and the PFW graduation showcases feature 10 future comedy stars hitting the stage for their very first time. Stand up comedy has never looked so good!

Angel Laketa Moore was born in Baltimore, Md, raised in Kentucky and is the youngest of four girls. The acting bug hit Angel very young, so she begin acting in plays in school and at church by the age of 7. After high school, she attended the University of Kentucky, where she received a bachelors of arts in theater. Then she went on to get her master of fine arts degree in acting from the University of California, Irvine. Then in 2006 she moved up to Los Angeles, and began working immediately on the hit tv show ER for three seasons. Angel started doing stand up January of 2010 and is loving every minute of it. She is currently living in Los Angeles with her wonderful husband Marcus I and her adorable 1 year old son Marcus II.

Kiersten is an actress/model residing in Los Angeles. She has worked on such shows as New Girl, and CSI :NY. She has also starred in several films including Kiss Kiss , which was just released 2019 on Amazon (Check it out!) . Kiersten received her bachelors in Film at CSUN.

Lindsay Nuckel is a Comedian, Actor, Swamp Witch, and Writer based in LA. She is the creator and writer of the web-series "Bodacious Justice". People have referred to her as being alike to "one of those birds that live in the airport".

Dara moved to LA with the plan to start her own production company - instead she steadily produced three strapping young boys. Now that her womb is officially closed she has returned to creating comedy with her kids providing ample content. You may recognize her from an endless number of late night infomercials - the baby bullet, brainy baby - any late night product being sold to desperate and exhausted moms.

She's co-creator and star of the award-winning series DATED (directed by Rob Burnett of The Mindy Project) and has performed at The Laugh Factory and Comedy Store in Hollywood. Comedian Elke Thoms
BOOM CHICAGO COMEDY FEST, LAUGH RIOT GRRRL FESTIVAL, BURBANK COMEDY FESTIVAL
Elke Thoms is a comedian and writer based in Los Angeles. She performs stand-up at clubs throughout LA and nationally at venues including The Comedy Store, The Second City, and Laugh Factory. Elke was named Best of the Fest in the Burbank Comedy Festival and has also been featured in festivals including the Boom Chicago Comedy Festival (Amsterdam) the World Comedy Expo (Chicago), and the Laugh Riot Grrrl Festival (Los Angeles).

Born In Casablanca, Morocco, Ymane migrated to the states with her parents and older sister when she was 6 years old. Raised in Queens, New York, she was never the only immigrant in a room and loved having friends from all walks of life. She is a proud Arab American and her childhood and life stories are a huge inspiration in her comedy. Comedy is her deepest love, but when Ymane is not making people laugh, she is all about fitness, trying out the newest vegan spots in town and empowering women. She is a best selling author, a delegate speaker for the Women Economic Forum, and the creator of Female Authors Rising; a digital course and mentorship program for women to write and publish their first book.

Lisa is an accomplished stand up comic, writer, singer, actress and producer. Her first professional gig was singing at Tokyo Disneyland. She spent another few months singing on a cruise ship, followed by four years on the road with the 50's rock group "Sha Na Na". In 1995, some jackass at the Hollywood Improv told her, "pretty women can�t be funny" so Lisa created "Pretty, Funny Women"...the longest running all female comedy show in the world. She has appeared on Comics Unleashed, Stand up in Stilettos, The Montreal and Chicago Comedy festivals and clubs across the country.. She has written on �Girls Behaving Badly�, �Chelsea Lately�, �Coach Charming� and was a producer on �Parental Discretion with Stefanie Wilder-Taylor� for Nick Mom. She has done hundreds of national commercials and voice-overs, including campaigns for Vons/Safeway, Mattel, Ford, and Kraft. Her hobbies include gambling and, well, thats it.
