Eljae spent the last 12 years as a science teacher, and is now in therapy. She quit teaching to be a full time performer. When she is not writing or performing on stage, she is auditioning or shooting a commercial. She was the face of both Taco Bell and Weight Watchers in 2015, which earned her lots of confusing looks. During her free time, Eljae listens to music and fantasizes about being Beyonce.
