Comedian, Actor & Writer Sonya Vai was born and raised in New York City but is constantly asked �where are you really from?� by drunk men in bars. Although she's of South Asian descent, Sonya has a culturally diverse face and is often mistaken for a terrorist. She loves being belligerent and airing her family�s dirty laundry. Sonya recently completed her first national comedy tour where she performed in 20 cities over 23 days. Sonya can be spotted around LA's finest bus stops and comedy clubs telling her unique brand of jokes!
