Phil tries to bring originality to his routine: armed with a tenor banjo, misleading impressions, and a nervous wreck for a stage persona. A UIC theatre graduate, Phil also is an actor/improviser who can be spotted at all over Chicago doing sketch or improv. Phil has performed for church events, art festivals, and he even brought along the banjo on a backpacking excursion last summer that lasted three months. Phil is currently touring the Midwest performing at the best comedy clubs. His crowning achievement was performing on Las Ramblas, Barcelona; naked. Phil was promptly escorted by the police for not having a permit. (FYI public nudity legal in Catalunya.) Lastly, Phil does a series of music videos under the alter ego Pierre, a French pop star. Using skills learned from Garageband and French 101, Pierre’s hits include Le Numero and Menage a Trois (avec moi).
