Tenere's mom is a nurse, his dad’s a doctor and he is... a comedian: one of these things is not like the other. But that’s the story of his life, always an outsider. Growing up in the mean, upper-middle class streets of East Altadena, CA reppin that 626 (Deee-nuh!), the struggle was (not that) real. Being one of a few black kids in an all white and asian private school â€" he was like a fly in a gallon of rice milk. He's definitely the safest black guy you know. His comedy comes from always being a fish out of water.
