Genevieve Joy, a recent transplant from NYC, just completed a successful run playing Libby Tucker in Neil Simon's 'I Ought to be in Pictures' at the Falcon theatre. She has performed stand-up at clubs and colleges all over the country, including Caroline’s on Broadway, Gotham, and The Comic Strip live. She has been featured in numerous festivals and was a finalist in the 2011 Funniest Comedian in New England Competition. In addition to stand-up Genevieve has performed sketch comedy at the Bleecker Street and Tank theaters in NYC and is a founding member of the acclaimed improvisation troupe ‘The Improv Addiction.’ Genevieve played five original characters in her one-woman show “My HBO Special” which debut earlier this year. In 2011, Genevieve wrote, produced, and starred in the film ‘Retardian Angel,’ based on a character from her stand-up. The film was later featured in numerous festivals around the Country.
