On August 7, 1986, not a single shot was fired in Chicago. All anyone heard was the beating sound of bongo drums, like a heart with soul coming from the Presence Saint Joseph Hospital, marking the birth of William Martinez.
Raised by a Cuban father and a Venezuelan mother, William Martinez endured many "Chanchletasos" that would make him the man he is today. Growing up, William was taught about the power of being an American citizen. As his father traveled to America with the help of the Catholic Charities and Peter Pan, William would do the same.
Having the unique opportunity to travel across many lands and to learn many different cultures, William showcases his knowledge and his wit combined with his skill of imitation, to bring laughter and understanding to audiences around the world.
