Mindy has been performing since she was a child. She performed for her husband and raised triplets until they all left the nest and she spread her wings to do stand up comedy in San Diego and Los Angeles. Credits include Comedy Stores, Improv in Hollywood, American Comedy Club, Madhouse Comedy Club, Comedy Palace in San Diego and San Diego State University where she most recently retired from the administrative stage. Mindy produces a group once entitled, LOL, Ladies of Laughter but now includes men, so it became, "Mindy Lipton and Funny Friends". Dat Phan, winner of season one of "Last Comic Standing" saw Mindy perform and when he's in the San Diego hood she opens for him...on stage both at Comedy Palace and Tango Del Rey in Point Loma.
