Essig has released three comedy albums that have appeared on XM/Sirius Satellite Radio as well as on his own Pandora Channel. He has also appeared more than fifteen times on the nationally syndicated Bob and Tom radio show as well as multiple times on National Public Radio. In 2013, he was one of seven "Artists to Watch" in the Riverfront Times and began his own podcast, "Trivial Matters," available on iTunes
