Born and raised in Houston, Tx, the actor/music producer/artist /comedian also known as "J Whitty" grew up in a struggling home with a single mother of four. The unpredictable southern slanged gentleman was raised both in a church background as well as a street. Although having natural musical talent, John decided to attend The University of Texas at San Antonio on a full track & field scholarship where he constantly performed, either on the track or on stage. The 6-time conference champion would participate in stage plays for the school’s theatre department. He was later asked to be the opener for Lil Duval at Comedy Night at Club Saga.
